In Katzmiller vs. Dover Area School District
The short of it, school board members made "Intelligent Design" a must-mention in the Dover School District. It was just a brief statement, what could be the harm? As Judge John E. Jones III knows, this interjects religion into a public funded school. Judge Jones did not only make a ruling in this case, his writing is extensive enough to be used in all the other cases that will soon crop up across the United States. That took guts. It also took guts to stand up and address the attempt to brand him as an activist judge. He took that on right away because it was the action of the school board in Dover who brought this before the court. It was activist on the part of those school board members to interject religion.
Judge Jones is a hero for calling a duck a duck. I am impressed and glad that it was this Republican judge who acted in this heroic way. This comes after I had lost faith in Republicans.
